Having a Hand, Foot and MouthDisease can bring severe pain not only to the children experiencing it but also for the parents who can see that their child is suffering.
The virus that causes this disease is usually picked up in public places with a lot of people. A place where the kids usually get together such as the daycare and playgrounds.
When this kids have this disease they could suffer from skin rashes, blisters and mouth lesions. These could give them so much pain.
One mom named Johanna experienced the nightmare of having a child with HFMD. She said “…as far as the variety of illnesses our family has had the pleasure to experience over the last six years with kids, I would have to say that HFM has been the worst… dare I say, biblical,"
She shared how her kids suffered from the pain that HFMD gives. It started with her first child and then both kids acquired the virus.
“It feels like a burning sensation on your hands and feet; I couldn’t walk, and if I did I had to crawl on my hands and knees,” she added.
